A merged discussion for all course / News feed#342

A news feed where a student/user can see all discussion from the courses he is part in.
It would make Spayee a great social network service which is really a + now on the market, like Mighty Networks. Allowing course creator to develop the community aspect more too.

Also with the ability to make this news feed/merged conversation, the first page a user get on. Like the “center” of the platform.

This one! Community is everything right now. Hate having a Facebook group attached to my courses. Would rather get a whole engagement feature from my LMS.

Yes, as an alternative to Mighty Network: ability to make the platform courses-centered with communities or communities-centered with courses

Good one, but they also need to enable emails notifiations to students upon reply to their questions, as without notifications, i pretty much see the community will have little value…

I totally agree. Notifications for the community features are essential. Engagement is everything for the future of the online courses world.

Also add more engagement features - ability to like posts + subjects tags defined by admin (like in mighty networks)

most active discussions should come to the top as in the facebook…othewise conversations are lost

This feature itself will take spayee to the next level, many competitors like new zenler, mighthy network has done this beautifully. Will appreciate spayee to implement community aspect in a much better way

Yes the community feature needs to be upgraded. Mightly network has the best features in this respect. This will be a great update. People can have a an umbrella community group and also become part of individual/course/topic/theme specific groups/communities with the same login credintials. (+) Search feature of mighty networks is also great wherein you can find other community members near your place (for small local, in-person community) (+) Each member should be allowed to provide good description/profile of himself including links to personal website, business website, social media handles also (so that community members can know each other better).
