Dear Graphy Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention several significant issues we’ve encountered with the current live class UI on our Android app, which is powered by Graphy. We pride ourselves on providing our students with the highest quality educational experience, and unfortunately, the current UI does not meet our expectations.
Key Issues Identified:
- Cluttered Interface: The interface is highly cluttered, making it difficult for students to navigate or focus on the lesson. The overlapping and poorly aligned elements further contribute to this issue.
- Limited Content Space: The current design takes up a significant portion of the screen with UI elements, leaving inadequate space for the actual content, which detracts from the learning experience.
- Poor Accessibility: Essential features like chat, raise hand, or leave class are not easily accessible. Moreover, there is a noticeable lack of accessibility features such as text size adjustment, color contrast, or screen reader support.
- Streaming Quality Concerns: There appears to be no clear way to adjust video quality, leading to issues such as pixelation or buffering that affect the class experience.
- Non-Intuitive Design: The design of the interface is not user-friendly. Important functions are either hidden or not prominent, making it difficult for users to engage with the class.
- Inconsistent Design: There is a lack of uniformity in the design elements, which can confuse users and detract from the overall experience.
- Poor Mobile Optimization: The interface does not seem to be optimized for mobile use, with small touch targets and difficult navigation on phones and tablets.
- Lack of Dark Theme: The absence of a dark theme option is a significant oversight. Many users prefer dark mode for reduced eye strain, especially during extended periods of use.
Recommendations for Improvement:
• Simplified and Clean Interface: The UI should be clean and clutter-free, focusing on the class content with minimal distractions.
• Enhanced Content Space: Maximize the screen space for content, minimizing the size of UI elements during live sessions.
• Improved Accessibility: Incorporate accessibility features like adjustable text size, high-contrast modes, and screen reader compatibility.
• Quality Streaming Options: Provide clear options for users to adjust streaming quality based on their internet connection to ensure a smooth experience.
• User-Centric Design: Ensure that the design is intuitive, with all essential features easily accessible and well-labeled.
• Consistent Design Elements: Maintain uniformity in the design elements, such as consistent button shapes, colors, and sizes.
• Mobile Optimization: Ensure that the UI is fully optimized for mobile devices, with larger touch targets and smoother navigation.
• Dark Theme Option: Introduce a dark theme option to accommodate users who prefer this mode for a more comfortable viewing experience.
We believe these changes are critical to providing a high-quality virtual classroom experience for our students. We request urgent attention to these matters and look forward to your prompt response and resolution.
