B2B Single purchase of course for multiple team members#1166

We need a way to support purchases of courses for teams / B2B. I’ll have one person at a company trying to buy a course or multiple courses for multiple team members. I need to let customers select quantity of ‘seats’ for a course, and then provide details for each learner. Each of those learners need to be created with access to the specified courses.

It is far too painful to ask customer to submit X purchases for X team members. One purchase is needed to enroll multiple people - the billing contact will likely not be one of the learners.

You’ll be happy to hear that we already have an alternative solution in place: Access codes.

We find that often B2B deals happen outside the platform (as multiple seats are purchased, the transaction is often at a discounted price).

In such a case, the admin can create one time access code equivalent to the number of seats and share that with the buyer.

While useful, Access Codes are not a solution to the stated problem, which is to support group purchases with credit card on the site.
